In der heutigen Aufführung der Münchner U-Bahn Dschungel Show durfte ich miterleben:

Eine freie Interpretation über Loriots Psychologensketch mit der auf- und zugeknipsten Handtasche, allerdings leider ohne den dazugehörigen wunderbaren Dialog. Das gibt Punktabzug.

Des weiteren durfte ich einem Rekordversuch im Dauerschmatzen duch meinen Sitznachbarn beiwohnen. Ich bin kein Experte, aber offensichtlich werden in der Disziplin "Lutschbonbon hart" nicht nur die Dauer des ununterbrochenen Schmatzens gemessen, sondern auch dessen Frequenz und vor allem die Lautstärke, die eine hohe Gewichtung in der Gesamtwertung haben muss. Leider konnte ich nicht mitverfolgen, ob der Rekordversuch erfolgreich war, da ich vorher aussteigen musste.

Der Tagessieg geht heute aber an eine sicher auch sonst sehr reizende, erwachsene Dame, die in bunten Ringelstrümpfen und Blümchengummistiefeln eine Art Regentanz am Bahnsteig zum Besten gab. Warum der Regentanz unterirdisch erfolgte bleibt unklar. Möglich scheint aber, dass eine Verbesserung der Münchner Grundwasserversorgung erzielt werden sollte. Zuerst musste ich für den Pflichtteil noch ein paar Punkte abziehen, da der Einmarsch in lauten Trippelschritten durch den gesamten Bahnhof dann doch etwas uninspiriert wirkte. Als die Darstellerin dann aber die endgültige Position und damit auch den Höhepunkt ihrer Darbietung erreicht hatte, zeigte sie ihr großes Improvisationtalent. Die grazilen, fließenden und beglückt wirkenden Bewegungen rundeten den positiven Gesamteindruck ab und machten die Darbietung eindeutig zum Highlight der heutigen Show. Ich vermute, dass die Aufführung auch noch in der U-Bahn fortgeführt wurde, konnte ihr aber nicht mehr beiwohnen, da ich mich trotz der erfrischenden Auflockerung des ansonsten monotonen Wartens auf die U-Bahn dann doch für die Fahrt in einem anderen Waggon entschieden habe.

Alles in allem also wieder einmal eine sehr abwechslungsreiche Transportdienstleistung mit Rahmenprogramm, präsentiert von den Münchner Verkehrsbetrieben. Aufführungen täglich, buchbar an den üblichen Vorverkaufsstellen ab 1,20 EUR, keine Sitzplatzreservierung möglich.

I just took this picture with our new Sony DSC HX5V point-and-shoot from our living room. Amazing, huh? It's got a 10x zoom and that's really showing.

If anyone is interested, here are the details: I put it on a Gorillapod, in manual mode, autofocus and exposure to center, maximum 10x zoom, 10 seconds self-timer and took a +/- 0.3 EV bracket shot at ISO 125.

Then merged the single photos to HDR with Photoshop, converted the HDR back to a 'normal' picture and applied some gaussian blur (1.2px) to the halo. Voilà!

Nicht dass die App dadurch weniger wert wäre oder nicht mehr verwendbar oder nützlich. Aber so ist der Mensch halt. Und ich habe auch nichts von einer 'Härtefall-Regelung' gelesen für Kunden, die erst unmittelbar vor der Aktion zugeschlagen haben und sich natürlich entsprechend noch mehr ärgern.

Ich finde nur die Verteilung der Bewertungen sehr amüsant. Wenn man bedenkt, dass beides keine wirkliche Rückmeldung über die Qualität der Applikation darstellt, sondern sich rein emotional auf den Preis bezieht...

Amazing how different designs can be and how the NYT manages to have a far clearer appearance while offering more than double the (text) content. (I counted chars: the whole text content in the SZ app example equals the NYT's first article plus the second title and 9 more chars. It's just an example, but obviously the additional content (what's the article about?) is valuable.

The other open questions are: why should I (or anyone) pay relevant money (€1.59 per month) for a push notification service (=annoying) and offline browsing capability (=rarely needed on an iPhone)? On the other hand it's clear why they don't charge for the Basic app, as it seems to offer just the same content as their (very similar looking) sueddeutsche.de website.
