I can't believe I fell for another piece of vaporware! Data Robotics had their new Drobo Storage Robot 2.0 (http://www.drobo.com) announced in July, in September it should also become available in Germany. A really nice gadget, though.

But frustrating to watch: There is a German distributor (http://www.everyware.de), there are retailers offering the Drobo, but one thing is still missing: the device itself!

I received information from my retailer (http://www.cyberport.de) today, that the availability is now completely tbd. - after it had been postponed twice to 11 September an 18 September already. And the distributor still lists Drobo 2.0 as available at 19 September.

Great! If I really can't stand a thing then it's long delivery times and VAPORWARE that just doesn't become available. I hope it does eventually, I'd really like to have one of those :o)
